Ma'amoul biscuits filled with Sugat nuts

Ma'amoul biscuits need no special introduction, but these are special because they are filled with walnuts and wine rather than dates. Excellent with a hot cup of coffee!
Makes approximately 20 cookies

Ingredients:
300 grams self-raising flour
200 grams melted butter
50 grams Sugat almonds, finally chopped
4 tablespoons Sugat brown sugar
½ container of cream

For the filling:
200 grams finely chopped Sugat walnuts
4 cups Sugat brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 cups of raisins, sliced in half, soaked in 3 tablespoons of red wine for one hour

Preparation:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
2. Mix the flour and chopped almonds in a bowl. Add the sugar, butter and cream and mix until a dough is formed.
3. Mix ingredients for the filling in a separate bowl.
4. Form oval balls with the dough. Poke a hole in each one and place a small amount of filling inside. Seal the hole with the remaining dough. Using a straight knife, carve indentations lengthwise along the biscuit (see picture).
5. Place in a greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, until biscuits are golden. Chill and sprinkle with Sugat powdered sugar. Store in a sealed box.
