Ingredients:
1 cup Sugat whole rice
1 cup Sugat green lentils
2½ cups boiling water
2 onions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Salt and pepper

Preparation:
1. Soak the rice in water for one hour. During this time cook the lentils in a pot filled with boiling water for 20 minutes, until they soften.
2. Fry onion and garlic in olive oil until golden. Rinse the rice and add to the pot, add spices and stir.
3. Add 2½ cups of boiling water and the lentils. Stir, then cover the pot and cook on a low heat for 30 minutes.
