Ingredients: 1 cup Sugat whole rice 2 cups boiling water ½ teaspoon salt ½ cup Sunflower seeds and raisins
Preparation: 1. Rinse the rice with running tap water. 2. Put 2 tablespoons oil in a pot and add the rice. Mix well. 3. Add the raisins and the sunflower seeds and mix until brown. 4. Add the boiling water and salt. Leave on a high heat until the water reaches the rice level and then reduce the heat and cook for an additional 30 minutes. Do not open the pot during cooking. 5. Leave pot covered for at least 5 minutes before serving. |
