| The ceramic dishes that Ilana paints are produced by her partner, Sheyna Lot, who has developed a unique ceramic art characterised by uncompromising quality and a burning process which reaches 1220°C. The results are strong dishes that may be used in any cooking method at any temperature, and are suitable for the microwave and dishwasher safe. |

When you look at the beautiful hand-painted dishes you immediately understand Ilana's sources of inspiration: Israeli nature and gentle, soft Tuscan landscapes. Indeed, the dishes have an aquarelle-like quality and a texture that feels like fabric. This is very rare in the world of ceramics. |

| Behind all this beauty there is a long process that comprises many stages. After Ilana receives the plate from Sheyna, she paints an under the glaze layer. After it is "underglazed", the dish goes into the first burning stage. Then Ilana draws on the plate with special pencils, adding borders, emphasising lines and so on, to bring more depth and perspective to the painting. Then the second burning takes place, followed by the last glaze layer. |

Every dish Ilana creates is a unique event and each is a one-off.
