1. Heat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Peel the apples, remove pips and grind using a coarse grinder. Sprinkle a bit of lemon juice to prevent them from becoming black.
3. Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, add the butter and knead together to create small crumbs.
4. Grease an oven-proof glass baking mould with butter and place the ground apples in it. Sprinkle the dough crumbs evenly over the apples.
5. Put in the oven and bake for 40 minutes or until the cake is brownish. Serve hot with a slightly sweetened cream.
